Strengthening Seychelles– China (Chengdu) Ties: A Step Towards Investment Opportunities

On Tuesday 19^th November, CEO Ms.  Anne Rosette had the pleasure of welcoming H.E Mr. Wang Qian, Deputy Mayor of Chengdu Municipal People's Government and his delegation to the Seychelles Investment Board.  The delegation arrived on the inaugural direct, non-stop charter flight from Chengdu, China, operated by Sichuan Airlines.

The discussions centred around investment opportunities in Seychelles notably around the Seychelles SDG Investor Map.  It was also an opportune time to also understand the areas of interest from the Chengdu delegation and how SIB can assist with further dialogue. 

The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to continue to explore the investment opportunities.
