Five things you didn't know about the Seychelles International Trusts

What is the Seychelles International Trust? This is a legal arrangement similar to trusts found in common law Jurisdictions. A Seychelles Trust is formed when a licenced Seychelles resident trustee registers a Declaration that all the provisions of the Act have been complied with.

No trust deed or details of the beneficiaries are revealed publicly and in official compliance procedures, the trust is only referred to by its reference number.

Here are five key features of the International Trust in Seychelles:

  • Legal Framework: International Trust Act, 1994.
  • Competitive Government fees with same day registration.
  • No restrictions on the accumulation of income.
  • Settler has choice of proper law.
  • May own and trade in other shares, operate bank accounts and deal.
